Cloud accounting software Xero versus Saasu
Has your accounting software (MYOB, quickbooks) kept up to date with cloud technology?
There are many options…Xero, saasu, netsuite, myoblive, quickbooksonline etc.
Xero has been around for quite a few years now, however from our reviews it has never been the real deal (not a complete accounting package – no internal payroll or inventory).
Xero may be suitable for sole traders, mico businesses however once you need payroll management and stock it becomes a little tricky.
Xero appears to be continually improving, however MYOB or Quickbooks shared via dropbox or similar has proved more effective in our humble opinion.
MYOB live, although cheap, is a few years behind, and very limited in functionaility (unless again for sole trader).
Quickbooks online appear to charge per user, using a very outdated model, so sharing your file with multiple users is limited.
Saasu on the other hand has recently implemented a new pricing strategy making it a sensational offering.
Saasu includes its own payroll and inventory functionality. It also provides usual standard reports including your usual profit and loss, balance sheet, debtors, creditors etc, together with a cash flow report.
Saasu can also import bank transactions directly, and as it is in the cloud, we can always access the very latest file.
